This site is your resource for finding out more about E. W. Godwins’ Sons, Inc. and what we do. This is a family business with a history of operating continuously for almost 100 years in the Wilmington, NC, and New Hanover County area. We sell all kinds of building materials including treated and untreated lumber, windows, doors, roofing, siding, plywood, moulding, insulation, decking, and other building supplies.

E.W. Godwins’ Sons, also referred to as “Godwin Lumber” to many locals, is open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. We count among our many customers the do-it yourselfers, remodelers, contractors, and new home owners/ builders.

We offer delivery of building materials with our fleet of company trucks. Our lumber company also offers installed insulation services. At the main office of E.W. Godwins’ Sons, located at 1207 Castle Hayne Road, Wilmington, NC, you can order at our inside sales counter and pick up from our mill yard the supplies you need to take with you. We also have several “outside” sales staff that will gladly come to visit you at your job site to quote on materials you need.
